Personal Scope of this Agreement
- This Agreement shall apply to the detached person regardless of his/her nationality, but to the short-term employee, self-employed person and investor only whose nationality is Korea or China.

Exemption from Dual Coverage
- ① In general, an employee is subject to the legislation of a contracting country in which he/she works.
- ② A detached worker is exempted from being subject to the legislation of the country which he/she is sent to for no more than 5 years if he/she is covered under the legislation of his/her home country.
⇒ Based on the mutual agreement between the two countries, the exemption period can be extended to 13 years. - ※ For more information, you may refer to the section Agreement, Administrative Arrangement or Guide for Exemption Application
